Abstract (EN)

In thisstudy, the contribution of elabela and asprosine levels to the diagnosis and their incidental clinical use in patients diagnosed with pulmonary embolism in the emergency service were investigated. Ourstudy was conducted on a total of 67 people, including 34 patients who came to the emergency service with the complaint of dyspnea, were diagnosed with pulmonaryembolism and hospitalized in the chest diseases service, and a control group of 33 people who are volunteers without any disease, in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Fırat University Faculty of Medicine. Plasma Elabela and Asprosin levels were measured by ELISAmethod. In the comparison of D-Dimer, Elabela and Asprosin values by age groups in the patient group, Elabela values were found to be 694 (583,76-2219,23) in the age of 40 years and below, 473,21 (290,07-684,93) in the 41-60 age group, 529,02 (178,72- 2765,31) in the group over the age of 60, and the difference was significant according to age groups (p=0,040). According to the findings, the cut off value for D-Dimerwas ≥ 922,00, the sensitivity rate was 96,3% and the specificity rate was 93,9% in the ROC analysis. In the ROC analysis performed for Elabela, the cut off value was found to be ≥ 922,00, the sensitivity rate as 82,4% and the specificity rate as 42,4%. In the ROC analysis performed for Asprosin, the cut off value was found to be ≥ 38,015, the sensitivity rate to be 85,3% and the specificity rate to be 27,3%. In conclusion, the difference of Elabela values of the 41-60 age group compared to other age groups was found to be significant in patients with pulmonary embolism, and it is thought that Elabela may be a new parameter in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism in a largerstudy
