Aknowldge and attitude of employee contact tracking teams in pursaklar district health directorate regarding COVID-19 contact monitoring: An intervention study

The aim of the study is to increase the knowledge level of COVID-19 contact tracking and to develop the attitude of the participants with the training modules created in accordance with the guides in the light of the current literature of the contact tracking teams working in the Pursaklar District Health Directorate. The is a pre-post study. The entire universe was reached in the research and the research group is 33 people. Total 69.69% of the participants were women and aged ranged between19-45 years old, while 39.40% of the participants were health officers, 30.30% of them had 26 years or more profession working experinces. Neally a quarter (23.6%) of the participants stated that they had access to information about the epidemic from the science committee, the Ministry of Health, 17.3% from television and 16.5% from the workplace training. It was determined that the knowledge level was higher among participants who had backer degree compare to who had the high school and diploma degree (p values= <0.001, 0.013), it was found that there was no relationship between the participants' other sociodemographic characteristics and clinical characteristics of COVID-19 and their knowledge level (p>0.05). Changing findings with educational intervention; increase in believing that the epidemic will end if the correct measures are taken (p= 0.002), the decrease in the score obtained from the COVID-19 fear scale (p< 0.001), the increase in the points obtained from the module 1, 2 and 3 posttests applied immediately after the training (p values= < 0.001, < 0.001, < 0.001) and 1 month after the training (p values= < 0.001, < 0.001, < 0.001). The COVID-19 knowledge and filming efficiency of the contact tracking teams were increased through the training intervention. It must supported by providing adequate practical and theoretical training in order to maintain the effectiveness of the intervention in order to increase COVID-19 knowldge level and efficiency of filiation.
