Özet (EN)

Solution casting was used to produce polymers composed of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG), as well as composite films composed of PVA and PEG mixtures. The NaI(Th) detector that was installed on these films was capable of detecting the 137Cs source's gamma rays. Utilizing X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared, ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy, and direct current conductivity tests, it was discovered that the samples could be identified. According to the XRD patterns observed at room temperature, the proportion of amorphous nanoparticles in polymer composites increases with the quantity of ZnO present. The FTIR spectra of these films clearly demonstrate the stretching and bending of the typical absorption bands. UV-V spectra were utilized to examine the change in transmittance, and as a result, an estimate of the optical band gap in the samples was derived. Using the observed DC conductivity, we can analyze how the conductivity of these films varies in response to differences in the quantity of ZnO contained inside them.
