Özet (EN)

In this study aim, to determine mechanical and physical properties between reinforced concrete with PVC additives (PVCRC) and pure concrete (reference). For this study, the normal and high strength concrete produced with the 10%, 20% and 30% PVC powder and granules additives its volume of all aggregate. The slump, dry and saturated unit weight, compressive strength, capillary water absorption, ultrasonic pulse velocity and surface hardness were tested on concretes. The significant changes determined of physical and mechanical properties of concrete increasingly rate of PVC additives. The 10%, 20% and 30% PVCRC unit weight respectively 4%, 8% and 13% was less according to reference. Granules PVC reinforced concrete is about half that rate. Compressive strengths were also same decreases. PVC ratio increases in capillary water absorption were decrease. This decrease ~50% of Powder PVCRC and ~10-35% of Granule PVCRC. In generally abrasion amounts reduces was determined respectively about 77% to 27%. Key Words: Abrasion, Waste, Concrete, Concrete compressive strength, Unit weight, Lightweight concrete, Capillarity, Additive rate, PVC
