Abstract (EN)
This study proposes a queer dramaturgy model applicable to theatrical texts by combining the strategies of feminist dramaturgy with a queer critical approach. The theoretical framework explores core concepts such as the binary gender system, gender, heteronormative structures, and identity construction. With the contributions of thinkers like Foucault, Butler, Ahmed, and Halberstam, the historical and conceptual foundations of queer theory are revealed. In the practical part of the study, the proposed model is applied to the plays Cadının Bohçası (The Witch's Bundle), Kimsenin Ölmediği Bir Günün Ertesiydi (The Day After a Day When No One Died), and Kraliçe Gece (Queen Night), analyzing how queer representations are constructed at the levels of staging and narration. The findings demonstrate how the binary gender system is reproduced, the impact of normative structures on texts, and the potential for queering. Furthermore, reapplying the model to various plays from the 2000s to the present shows that queer modeling offers a structure that is not fixed but fluid and adaptable to the context of the play. In conclusion, this thesis presents a critical and transformative dramaturgical approach to creating queer literature and a queer critical perspective.
