Abstract (EN)
This study is consist of two main parts; a theoratical part which tells about the RFID systems, technology and an application part where the application and the demo kit used is explained in detail and the software developed is performed. As a kind of preparation for the application, the criters to be considered choosing the system and the factors that effects the system according to the application types are also given in the theoratical part. In this study an ?e-money? application is preferred. At 13.56 MHz (HF) operating frequency passive mifare tags and SMRFID 1013 demo kit are used. A software is developed using C# at Visiual Studio 2005. NET platform for this application in which a purchase of a product can be done with credit cards by using RFID technology. But in this thesis the credit cards do not comunicate with bank servers during the operation. According to the software developed, the prices of the products that are displayed to the reader are read and the total cost is displayed on the scene after calculated. When the purchasing exists, after the credit card key enterance is done, the total cost can be reduced from the amount money in the credit card. Any ?access? or an ?operation? on a credit card is only allowed, in case that the correct authentication key is entered. So by this privacy advantage of the software and the SMRFID program being designed with anticollision requirements, this application has been successfully performed by also removing the two main problems of RFID systems; collision and non-security. RFID technology has ben preffered as the thesis subject since it has become useful in almost every sector. By its developing structure, RFID seems to be also the future technology.
