Abstract (EN)
A Cobalt-60 machine was used to define specific dose values, for different tissue equivalent materials, that are in clinical use. Effective dose values that were calculated for each materials compared with the effective dose values of the solid water phantom that were accepted tissue equivalent in radiotherapy as a reference and used in measurement. As a result of this comparison, values of the percentage difference of the solid water phantom and tissue equivalent materials were calculated. According to protocols adopted as the reference measurements and calculations were compared with radiotherapy applications. It was investigated that this different values is suitable for use as a tissue equivalent materials.Key Words : Co-60, the solid water phantom, the tissue equivalent materials, X-Ray
