Abstract (EN)
In this study, the dose value that is given by Alcyon-II mark cobalt-60 teletherapy machine that Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtarslan Ankara Oncology Education and Research Hospital have was measured by Al2O3(TLD-500). The irradiation was done at Co-60 machine at 10 cm x 10 cm area by using SSD (source skin distance) technique. The reading for irradiated Al2O3(TLD-500) was done by using ELSEC 9010 OSL counting system that is at Gazi University Science and Education Faculty. The Al2O3(TLD-500) calibration curve was created by giving doses from 0,05 Gy to 1 Gy to Al2O3(TLD-500) at 1 cm depth. In addition, for Al2O3 that is put at varies depth at tissue equivalent solid phantom, the %DD graph changing with depth was formed and was compared with %DD graph which is measured by ion chamber at same condition.Key Words : Radiotherapy, Cobalt-60, %DD, SSD, Al2O3(TLD-500), OSL,
