Abstract (EN)

Inthiswork, thepercentdepthdosemeasurementsweredonebyusing x-rayswith 6MV and 18MV fromlinearacceleratortherapydevice (Siemens, OncorImpression model) to plan theprobableradiationdoseto be giventopatientwith plaster. Bychangingthethickness of tissueequivalentsolidphantomwithandwithout plasterthelinearattenuationcoefficientswereexperimentallydeterminedfor (5x5) cm2, (10x10) cm2and (15x15) cm2areasandinvestigatedtheeffect of plaster todose. Itwasshownthatthelinearattenuationcoefficientsaredecreasingwhileenergy is increasing. Thelinearattenuationcoefficient of plaster wasalsocalculatedbyusingthe NIST x-ray program andcomparedwiththemeasuredvalues. Theresultswerefoundthattheyaregoodagreementwitheachother?sandthebackscatteringarethelessfor (5x5) cm2thanforthat of otherareas.Key Words : Radiotheraphy, X-Rays, Attention Coefficients, %Depth Dose
