Abstract (EN)
The study titled ?An Examination of the Novels by Ragıp Şevki? sets out to examine the seven published novels of the author in terms of structure and to find out the bases the novels have. To serve this purpose, elements of the novels were dealt with separately. Besides, taking the history-novel relation into account, it was tried to put forward what a historical novel is and to explain popularity along with their popularity level and characteristics of historical novels were put forwardSome conclusions as to his understanding of art have been reached based on his position in the era about Ragıp Şevki Yeşim, an author of Republican Era.Key Words:1.History-Novel Relation,2.History Novel,3.Popular Novel,4.Popular Historical Novel,5.Ragıp Şevki Yeşim,6.Novel Examination
