A review on Refik Durbaş's children's poems

In this research, it is aimed to examine the children's poems of Refik Durbaş in terms of the principles of relativity to the child. In this study, in which qualitative research model was used, the data were obtained by document review method. The documents of this study were composed of nine poetry books by Refik Durbaş: Bez Bebekle Kuklası, Yaramaz Şiirler, Kırmızı Kanatlı Kartal, Kar Üstünde Beyaz Bulut, Şaşkın Baykuş, Kuyruğu Zıp Zıp Kanguru, Çıkar Çıktı Çocukluğum, Büyüsün Düşler And Nar Düştü Kar Üstüne. It was examined that Refik Durbaş's 229 poems are divided into two main headings, content (theme and subject, persons, language and expression and plan) and form (size, paper, cover and binding, page layout, letters and fonts and pictures) in terms of the principle of being suitable for children. In the determination of the theme and subject in the poems, the 2019 Turkish Lesson Curriculum was taken as a basis. In terms of the formal and content features of the nine poetry books examined, the following results were obtained: According to the frequency of use of the sixteen themes in the program, respectively, Nature and Universe, Child's World, Individual and Society, Our National Culture, Rights and Freedoms, Time and Space, Communication and Emotions as eight are included. Animal, human, fantastic item and plant was in the context of people. It was seen that the poet has a style consisting of images and literary arts. When the works were examined in terms of form, it was determined that the age range and page numbers addressed by the books were not specified, and the rules of spelling and spelling were neglected in general of the poems.
