Abstract (EN)
There are named veins vena (v) basilica, v. cephalica and v. mediana antebrachii in the regio antebrachii anterior. Since the skin is thin and the veins are superficial in this region, it may be difficult to determine its course by dissection. In this study, vein types in this region were examined in order to facilitate the detection of veins in the anterior forearm region. For this purpose, the vein types in a total of 400 arms, including the right and left arms of 100 female and 100 male patients, whose simple random sampling method was selected among individuals who applied to the Fırat University Hospital Emergency Service, were examined. In the measurements, a tourniquet was applied to the arm in order to better visualize the veins and data were collected with a vein imaging device. The veins in the anterior forearm were grouped according to their anastomosis shapes, and then the holistic types of the right and left arm were determined. As a result of the research, v. mediana antebrachii was found to be "i" type at a rate of 78% in the right arm and "i" type at a rate of 70.5% in the left arm, and this vein type was found to be the most common type of vein in all individuals. "i" type veins were observed the most in both male and female participants, respectively. In men v. mediana antebrachii in the right arm (82%) and left arm (69%); In women, the most "i" type veins were observed in the right arm (74%) and left arm (72%). As a result of holistic typing, 12.5% "yii" vein type in the right arm and 8.0% "eiy" vein type in the left arm in men; In women, 12% "yii" vein type was observed in the right arm and 8.5% "yii" vein type was observed in the left arm. As a result of the research, it was determined that the vein types on the right and left arm did not differ significantly according to the gender variable.
