Recreational centres and the situation of university students using these centres: Tokat example

Recriational Centres and the situation of University Students Using These Centres (Tokat Example) Recreation is the social, cultural, and sportif activities that people do except the activities they have to do to survive. In our study we intended to find some information about the presents situation of recreation centres and if the Gaziosmanpaşa University students are aware of this and how often they use these centres. We think that our study which aims to find the wishes and hopes of the Gaziosmanpaşa University students who forms a small example of the problems of the students in Anatolian universities will be a model for the studies that will be done in this fields. By doing a questionnaire among university students, some information about the recreational centres and personel information were obtained and these results were ased statistically. During the assessment of theses data SPSS (Statistics Package for Social Sciences) programe was used. With the help of these results percentage dispersion tables and graphics were formed and they were discussed by contrasting them with different studies. As a result, by the help of information found, it was determined that the concept of recreation was known by the university students and they preferred the foundations outside the universities to the ones at the universities. It was also determined that the students find the foundations at universities and in the city centres insufificient, they want new foundations and they exept some useful and objective studies regarding the operation of present foundations.
