Abstract (EN)
This study aims to reveal the effect of referees' participation in recreational activities on their organizational commitment and life satisfaction in Eskişehir province. The sample of the study consists of N=87 referees. In our study, in addition to demographic questions, "Participation in Meaningful Activities Scale", "Three Dimensional Organizational Commitment Scale" and "Life Satisfaction Scale" were used to collect data. The data were collected with an online questionnaire created in Google forms. Statistical analysis of the collected data was performed with SPSS 26.0 program. When the findings obtained in the research are evaluated, it is seen that life satisfaction scores show significance in terms of income level and marital status variables. In our country, recreation, especially in public institutions, should be included and made more understandable in business life and social life, not on paper. The effects of recreation on performance, life satisfaction, organizational commitment and renewal of individuals should be frequently brought up and policies that include recreation in our country should be pursued.
