Özet (EN)
The Course of Secondary Hyperparathyroidism Before and After Renal Transplantation in Renal Transplantation Patients Introduction: The aim of this study is to define the pre- and post-transplant biochemical parameters of patients with kidney transplantation; and by comparing these parameters, to evaluate the course of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients after transplantation. Materials and Methods: Inonu University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nephrology 01/2010-12/2021 Thirty-nine of the patients who had kidney transplantation between the files of 39 patients were analyzed. Our patients' age, gender, type of transplant, pre-transplant 3rd month and 1st month, 3rd month, 6th month and 12th month after transplantation, BUN, Creatinine, Albumin, Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Parathormone and Vitamin D levels are evaluated. Results: The mean age of transplant patients included in the study was 42.08±11.66 years. 59% of the patients are male and 41% are female. 82.1% of kidney transplanted patients are from living donors and 17.9% are from cadavers. When the BUN and albumin values of the patients were compared before and after transplantation, a significant difference was found (p<0.05). The blood values that make the difference are the blood values in the 3rd month before the transplant and the 1st month after the transplant. When the creatinine, phosphorus, magnesium, parathormone values were compared, a significant difference was found (p<0.05). The blood values that make the difference are the blood values in the 3rd month before the transplant. Conclusion: There was a high level of significant difference between pre- and post-transplant parameters in SHPT parameters, and the recovery process continued until the 6th month. It can be said that after the 6th month, the SHPT parameters of the patients started to deteriorate again after improvement. Further studies are needed.
