The language of colour in Alanya

Human has been in search of esthetics as long as he/she existed in life.In search of esthetics colours have always been a significant element/consideration/factor.In this study;since the recognized history, the scientific researches have been studied in which the colours have existed,within this period the visual and spiritual influences of the colour have been studied in the light of these studies the colours belonging to its nature and structure have been determined what Alanya possesess from past to present,the influences of these colours have been examined in the size of Alanya.In this study where the colours are examined in the size of Alanya,we can see how the colours used in the construction in the historical peninsula are changing in the Çarşı district and how it took its final form in Ahmet Tokuş boulevard. By using qualitative (observational and heuristic)research method,the sructures and natural surrounding silhouette in the specified region were examined and photographs were taken and within the historical process the colour that formed Alanya county has been examined with the changes in paint,construction technology and biotic factor.Answers to the following questions are quested. "What are the reasons for being preferred of the selected colours which are chosen in the encoloured structures? How did the embodiment of colour preference take place that were used in the strucure facades within the historical process?Do colours in the nature of Alanya have an effect on the colours used in structure facades?. We see that the colour palette consisting of the colours of the gathering material used in the history changes the colour palette in Alanya with the progress of the technology ,the enlargement of colours that can be chosen/preferred and application facilities. In addition,in the later process,we can see that the reusable materials reflecting the colour in the castle walls are used ,from time to time in order to adapt to the built environment,sometimes to remind the historical elements,and sometimes to remind the v specific materialsThis thesis is a study which can be basis for the suggestions of colour palette to certain regions of Alanya.
