Abstract (EN)
In this study, segmentation of color digital images and detection of edge procedures are done simultaneously by using relation matrix. Digital images having three-dimensional color space are transformed into one-dimensional color space with the aid of relation matrix in the obtained images, similar pixels are displayed as white while non-similar pixels are shown in black. Similarities of pixels are obtained by using three different relation functions and for each function, the results belonging to segmentation and edge detection are given. Whereas better results are obtained with the aid of exponential function in segmentation, clear and accurate edges are formed by using linear and exponential functions in edge detection.
