A research about the components in Reşat Aysu?s works that are adaptable to performance techniques for the flute and their use in flute education

This study was carried out in order to appointed the components in Reşat AYSU?s works that adaptable to performance techniques for the flute and create a repertoire for Flute Education and getting the opinions of university flute instructors and the students about using this repertoire at flute education.The study consists of two main parts. The studies in the first part are appointing the components in Reşat Aysu?s works that adaptable to performance techniques for the flute and create ?The Repertoire with Resat AYSU `s Works to Study Flute?. The studies in the seccond part are getting the opinions of university flute instructors and the students about this repetoire. For using in the study, Reşat AYSU?s 10 works have been selected and theese works have been analysed an account of performance techniques for the flute. Then the repertoire which consists of the studies of The Staccato, The Legato, The Double Tonguing, The Triple Tonguing, The Grace Notes, The Mixed Techniques, The Scales and The Arpeggios have been created. A survey has been prepared to getting the opinions of unuversity flute instructors and the students. In this survey, the questions for three extents have been put. Theese extents are technical, motivation and recognition of the characteristics of Classical Turkish Music. The opinions of flute instructors where Departments of Music and Music Education of the faculties in Turkey and the students which study in third and fourth level of undergraduate have been got with the survey.Key Words: Music Education, Flute Training, Reşat Aysu, İnstrumenal Works, Mode, Analysis
