Anatolia in the novel of Reşat Nuri Güntekin

Reşat Nuri Güntekin has an important place in Turkish literature in the Republican era with his works. In this study, the subject of "Anatolia" was examined in the novels of Reşat Nuri Güntekin. Reşat Nuri Güntekin is the leading author among those who discuss the theme of "Anatolia" in Turkish literature. Reşat Nuri Güntekin lived in various parts of Anatolia due to his father's profession and being a teacher. For this reason, he met different types of people living in Anatolia and witnessed many different events. Later, he expressed these experiences in some of his works. In this study, entitled as "Anatolia in Turkish Novel and Reşat Nuri Güntekin", the place of Anatolia in Turkish Literature and the reason of Reşat Nuri Güntekin to handle Anatolia are mentioned. Entitled as "Anatolian Geography in the Novels of Reşat Nuri Güntekin", which regions the author describes in Anatolia and the handling of theme of "Anatolia" in the Turkish novel. Under the head of "Physical Condition in Anatolia", it is explained how Reşat Nuri Güntekin mentions physical appearance of the places and people in Anatolia in his novels. Under the head of "Social Conditional of Anatolia", information about the family and the elements that make up it is given. Under the title of "Economic Situation in Anatolia", the problems experienced in Anatolia, which Reşat Nuri Güntekin mentioned in his novels, were conveyed. Under the title of" Education in Anatolia", problems in education are mentioned in Anatolia. In the last title "Individual Life in Anatolia", the way of experiencing feelings such as love and friendship is explained by giving examples from the novels of Reşat Nuri Güntekin.
