Abstract (EN)

While the world completes its daily rotation around its own axis, it completes its rotation around the sun. The earth completes this movement on an elliptical orbit in 365 days and 6 hours. Due to this orbit, which is monitored in the form of an ellipse, the sunrise and sunset times and the angle of falling of the sun's rays on the earth change during the year. When it is desired to utilize solar energy at the maximum level, the position angles of the panels used in energy production should be adjusted perpendicularly to the solar radiation. The sun is the main renewable energy source. In addition, it provides an inexhaustible and environmentally friendly energy to the world as the source of many energy types. One of the ways to utilize this unlimited energy is; is to use photovoltaic cells and panels that generate electricity thanks to the solar radiation falling on them. In these systems, fixed and tracer solar panel systems are used to obtain maximum efficiency from solar radiation. This slope varies according to the geographical location of the region and the seasons. In the region, depending on the seasons during the year, the optimum slope angle can be calculated to increase the amount of energy obtained from sunlight. In this study; Monthly correction for 13 provinces (Ankara, Bursa, Edirne, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Konya, Mugla, Sinop, Van) located in different geographical regions of our country, located within the latitudes of 36 ° - 42 ° north, optimum panel angles have been determined in order to maximize solar panel performance on a seasonal and annual basis. The results were compared with 5 different statistical methods; statistical comparison methods, coefficient of determination, relative error percentage, deviation error, mean square root error and t-statistics.
