The thoughts of the teachers about appropriateness of physical condition of their schools teaching at primary schools (In Esenyurt region)

When a qualified education is aimed, the information must be transferred in appropriate places with true instruments. During primary education, pupils spend most of their times at school. Therefore, it is important that the education at these places must be qualified. These places must be designed well. Because it affects students? behavior in a positive way and it enhances quality of education.In this research, the thoughts of the teachers, teaching at primary schools, about appropriateness of physical condition of their schools are discussed. The sampling of the research consists of 175 teachers teaching at different primary schools in Esenyurt region in İstanbul. In order to get data a survey consisting of two parts is used. In the first part of the survey demographic informations of participants take place. In the second part oft he survey teachers` thoughts about physical conditions of the schools and teaching materials and instruments in the classrooms take place.At the end of the research, It has come on the scene that the teachers? thoughts on the phsyical conditions of their schools are negative. It has seen that, the male, old, senior teachers ,the teachers who teaches in less crowded classes and the teachers who had a course or career seminar on classroom materials and the physical conditions of the school, have positive thoughts.
