Abstract (EN)

In restaurant businesses, which require a fast-paced work environment, long working hours, and direct interaction with customers, enhancing employee motivation and commitment to their jobs is of great importance. At this point, managerial support plays a crucial role in improving employees' working conditions, helping them cope with stress, and maintaining their work-life balance. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of managerial support on the quality of work life of employees in restaurant businesses. A quantitative research method was employed, and data were collected through a survey. The study gathered data from 400 employees working in medium and large-scale restaurants in Nevşehir. Descriptive statistics, difference tests, correlation, and regression analyses were utilized in data analysis. The findings revealed that managerial support has a significant and positive effect on the quality of work life. Furthermore, it was observed that perceived managerial support indirectly influences job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The results indicate that a supportive management approach in the workplace can enhance employee performance and overall job satisfaction. In this context, adopting managerial strategies that prioritize employee support in restaurant businesses may yield positive outcomes at both individual and organizational levels.
