Özet (EN)

In the present study, the stress strength and field on implant and bone that caused by the forces on two implant with 4 different prosthetic design were examined with finite element analysis in full edentulous mandibula with marginal resection of the left side. Two implant supported ball retained overdenture, o ring retained overdenture, locator retained overdenture and bar retained overdenture prosthesis were made in left side marginally resected full edentulous mandibula. 100 N vertical and horizontal forces were applied respectively, to central fossa and the middle of the buccal surface of the first molar. The resultant stress were examined with Algor Fempro Program.Within the limits of this study, when the stress value were compared, the highest stress value have been seen on the bar retained overdenture implants and the surrounding bone. The lowest stress value have occured on the o ring retained overdenture implants and surrounding bone. Stresses have been concentrated on the cortical bone.Key Words; ball attachment, bar attachment, locator attachment, o ring attachment, implant overdenture, finite element analysis
