Özet (EN)

Richard Strauss influenced the horn development in terms of solo and orchestration. The two concertos he wrote in 1883 and 1942 are the milestones of solo horn writing. These arts were always effective at the beginnig and the end of his carrier. He reflected in many ways the differences betveen the natural and the valved horn in 18. and 20. centuries in terms of usage of full chromatic and structural needs of horn usage. While the fist one written in 1883 has the characteristics passages of natural horn, the second horn concerto was written according to the valved horn characteristics. The contrast between his early years passed happly and succesfully and the maturaty years passed with suffering is one of the characteristic of his compositional carrier. Although the main factors of styles are different, the horn concertos which are totaly compatible with each other present us the bridge that connect the years one another.
