Abstract (EN)

As a result of combining the fibers (staple and filament form) used as raw materials in the textile industry with different methods, completely new hybrid/composite yarns with structure and properties can be developed. In recent years, there have been significant technological developments in this field. By transferring these developments to mass production, it is possible to design and manufacture products with high added value. In this study, it is aimed to focus on the combination of staple and filament fiber structures to produce hybrid/composite yarn structures and its effect on the ring spinning system. For this purpose, with the changes made on the system, yarn production was carried out in 10 different ways. By examining the structure and properties of the yarns produced in this way, denim fabrics were designed from yarns produced in two different sample groups and their performance properties were examined. In the quality-control phase, yarn tests (breaking strength and elongation, unevenness, thin places, thick places, neps, hairiness) and fabric tests (breaking strength and elongation, elasticity, permanent elongation, recovery, abrasion resistance and pilling) of the produced samples resistance, dimensional stability) were performed and necessary examinations were made. Improvements were made when necessary, statistical analyzes were made and test results were interpreted.
