Abstract (EN)

The decriminalization of children, the guarantees of the future of countries and the hope of the future, is one of the most important problems of societies. For this reason, it is of great importance to prevent children from being dragged into crime and to bring children who are victims of crime back into society. The fact that some children in our country are disadvantaged due to personal and environmental factors makes it important to protect them more carefully, educate them, identify risk factors and create preventive measures. The fact that children are at risk in addition to their natural weakness causes them to move further away from their educational environment and may result in the child being dragged into crime. It is important to identify the risk factors that children of school age experience due to individual and environmental factors in accessing education, to establish areas of early intervention and strategies for the child. It is important that teachers, who are the competent and most effective actors of education, interact closely and communicate with children in order to determine their condition, intervene and take precautions. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the opinions of teachers about the role of education in preventing children at risk of being dragged into crime. The main objectives are to develop solutions based on the views of educators by revealing the role of education and the educator in preventing children at risk from being dragged into crime. The opinions of teachers about the subject and the data obtained by the survey method were analyzed statistically.
