Özet (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine stress and the factors affecting stress in risk and non-risk pregnant women. Material and Method: This research was carried out in a hospital located in a district of Kütahya. The population of the study is 629 pregnant women, and the sample of this study is 238 women. In the study, data were collected online with pregnant women who applied to the hospital using the Pregnancy Stress Rating Scale. Results: According to the risk assessment form used in this study, it was determined that 31.1% of the pregnant women had risky pregnancies. The mean total score of the Pregnancy Stress Assessment Scale was determined as 43.3 ± 17.2. The total mean score of the Pregnancy Stress Assessment Scale was found to be statistically significantly higher in women who were 27 years of age or younger, had a nuclear family, lived in the city center, and stated that they had problems during pregnancy. Conclusion: In line with the results of this study, providing the necessary psychological and medical support to the pregnant women who are experiencing stress can be ensured that the pregnant women and their babies are least affected by this period.
