Abstract (EN)

Gettier proved that, as is known, truth, belief and justification conditions of traditional account of knowledge are inadequate and that there are cases which meet the so-called conditions but can not properly be called as knowledge. Therefore, contemporary epistemologists conceded that traditional analyses of knowledge ought to be revised and they thusly offered varying solutions.Since many philosophers of theory of knowledge acknowledge that truth and belief conditions are the ones that are adequate the discussion seems to be going on in the context of third condition, namely ?justification?. It could be said that considerations of justification make up a recent field in contemporary epistemology which is known as ?theories of justification?.Gettier Problem which refers in epistemology to a breaking point constitutes this work?s general basis. In particular it is concerned with both Roderick M. Chisholm and Alvin Goldman who in detail deal with Gettier?s counter-examples and strive for generating a solution which could overcome the so-called difficulties. That no such a comprehensive study thus far achived in Turkish, is one of this work?s original aspect. And the other is that it could enable one to compare, in terms of this two philosophers, internalism and externalism which be known as two contrary view.
