Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it is aimed to design and present a structure that will enable an aircraft to reach flight altitude quickly and effectively and then to glide through the air without thrust. For this, a two-stage flight scenario has been considered. Attention has been paid to ensure that 2 different structures most suitable for these flight scenarios can be combined on a single structural body and converted. Therefore, in this study, it was decided to design a rocket structure for the first flight stage and a winged UAV structure for the second stage. Therefore, it was deemed appropriate to give the name Rocketry Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (ROUAV) to this design, which has a rocket-like appearance with its first stage and a UAV-like appearance with its second stage. A unique mechanism has been designed that enables the ROUAV to transform from a rocket structure to a UAV structure. Each module that makes up the ROUAV is designed and manufactured separately. The success of these modules has been demonstrated by field testing under real weather conditions. The results obtained showed that the ROUAV can be successfully flown. Keywords: Rocket, UAV, Delta Wing, Flight Control
