Abstract (EN)
Today, many enterprises and public institutions have a skilled workforce and a policy of keeping this workforce in their organizations. In this way, it is inevitable for employees in organizations that employ personnel to have role conflicts and role ambiguities because they are assigned to many jobs other than their own. Employees constantly experiencing conflict and uncertainty in the business environment cause them to cool down and move away from their workplaces and businesses. In public and private sector employees, alienation from their jobs is often the result of their role ambiguity and role conflict. In this study, the role of staff in their organizations in Kastamonu province on their role in alienation of their role ambiguity and role conflict perception was investigated. The study was conducted on 272 staff working in public institutions in Kastamonu province. Data were collected by questionnaire method which is one of the quantitative data collection methods. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 22.0 package program. Hypothesis was tested by test, ANOVA test and multiple regression test. As a result of the analyzes, significant relationships were found in some dimensions of organizational alienation with role conflict and role ambiguity. In addition, it was concluded that role conflict and role ambiguity were effective on the subdimensions of organizational alienation in the multiple regression analysis.
