Even though Jerusalem have a set of settlements which extends back to B.C. 10.000, one could say that it has emerged as a city at the begining of the Bronze Age. Jerusalem's, whose first settlers are Phoenicians, rising as a kingdom coincide with the period of David. Whilst timeframe which is the Temple's building by Solomon and its destruction by Babylonians is called First Temple Period; timeframe which is the Temple's rebuilding by Persians and its destruction once again by the Romans at A.D. 70 is called Second Temple Period. From fell into the hands of Romans at B.C. 63 to reign of Constantine, for IV century, Jerusalem witnessed two great rebellions. As a result of these rebellions, Jews who are suppressed by gorily, scattered all over the world, created Jewish Diaspora. Constantine's ascending to the throne of Byzantine Empire and liberation of the Christianity is marked the begining of Jerusalem's anomy of its Jewish idenity and come into prominence with its Christian idenity. As of this moment Jerusalem, what is decorated with Christianity structures, enabled Christian pilgrims to flow itself from the four corners of the earth. City of Jerusalem, after dominated by Roman-Byzantion reign for VII century, is witnessed the beginging of a new era at 638 when conquered by Muslims.
