Abstract (EN)

Throughout human existence, various methods have been employed to reveal subconscious latent emotions. These methods have sometimes yielded positive outcomes, while at other times, they have resulted in negative consequences. Like every individual in society, artists have developed unique methods to express their subconscious feelings. The method employed by artists is the reflection of these emotions through their works. This research evaluates the themes of dreams, horror, and sexuality through a variety of examples of the Romantic period artists and their paintings. The study is divided into three sections. In the first section, a general definition of dreams, horror, and sexuality is provided, and these themes are examined from a theoretical perspective. The second section focuses on the themes of dreams, horror, and sexuality in Romanticism, evaluating them through the examples of artists and their works. In the final section, an analysis is conducted on the researcher's own works in light of these themes. Keywords: Art, Painting, Romanticism, Dream, Horror, Sexuality.
