Abstract (EN)

The artistic movements that spread from Italy to Europe at the beginning of the 15th century caused artists of all countries to turn to new experiences. This spirit which dominates 15th century's art is the most important symptom of the departure from the Medieval. In the process until the 15th century, art experienced a development showing the same characteristics in almost all of Europe. In the period called the Middle Ages before the Renaissance, while the goals and ideals that the artists wanted to realize showed close parallels with each other, it was possible with the Renaissance to value personal expression with the increase of individuality and subjectivity in artists with the Renaissance. Despite the fact that the word for Renaissance means "rebirth"; In many fields such as science, art, politics and thought system, it is generally considered as enlightenment, renewal and revival. All this renewal process has also affected the art of jewelry. Renaissance jewelers were respected and respected as other artists in painting, sculpture, and architecture.
