Özet (EN)

In our country, thermal imaging devices and sub-parts used in defense industry have been imported. Domestic technologies need to be improved in a critical area such as defense. For this porpuse, in this thesis the design of brushless DC motor and optimization of output parameters have been carried out for cryogenic coolers being situated in the military inventory. Firstly, the analytical calculations of the motor have been performed using the software package of ANSYS Maxwell Rmxprt. The optimization of the parameters of skew, pole arc offset, embrace and magnet thickness affecting the output parameters quantities have been carried out. 2D and 3D finite element analysis have been performed for the obtained model according to the optimization results. According to the data obtained from study, pole arc offset pole arc value, the amountf of skew and magnet thickness are obtained to be of 2,5 mm, 0,64, 0,5 and 2,2 mm respectively. In this study, a contribution to the national instrument design capability and increasing the competitiveness power in the field of thermal imaging have been intended.
