Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the artists who have mentally and physically persistent illnesses to meet their occupations and to shape their lives upon their adoption.In this study, firstly, the meaning of mental and physical disorders in medical science is mentioned. Later, along with modern art, Frida Kahlo's life and understanding of art and the effect of Toulouse-Lautrec's physical condition on art were emphasized.Both artists think that in the face of traumatic situations, they determine the effects of modern art by examining how they use their arts and their mental and physical work.
