Resolution of disputes arising from foreign direct invest-ment in Turkish, Russian and Chinese law

Today, minimum standards (national treatment, the most favored nation clause, capital transfer, protective measures against expropriation and dispute resolution) have been established regarding the protection of foreign investments in the host country. Although the content and application area of the minimum standards for foreign in-vestments differ from country to country, the purpose of these standards is common. In this sense, the aim of establishing minimum standards regarding foreign investments is the desire to create favorable investment environment that provides consistent, predicta-ble, transparent and equal conditions in the host country. For the purpose of the thesis; the evaluation of the main provisions relating to the protection of foreign direct investment in China, Russia and Turkey investment legisla-tions, whether it is compatible with international standards, the scope and differences of these countries's investment legislations in terms of consent to international arbitration
