Abstract (EN)

The aim of this master's thesis is to analyze the existence of the avant-garde Futurism movement that emerged at the beginning of the 20th century in Russian literature and the poetry of Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky, a Futurist. In our study, in accordance with this purpose, the general definition of avant-garde is given; Italian Futurism, which is the beginning of Futurism, is examined in line with the manifestos and the reflections of Italian Futurism on different branches of art, artistic periods and ideological dimensions are examined. The infrastructure and development stages of Futurism in Russian literature are explained and the artists and works of Russian Futurist societies and the art theories created by Russian Futurists in this period are mentioned. The features of Vladimir Mayakovsky's poetics and the innovations he brought to the Russian literary language are explained and his poems are scrutinized together with his life story and creativity phases. Finally, in our study, it is aimed to make up for the deficiency of resources in Turkish language related to the poetics of the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky, which draws interest in our country, and to introduce the poet with his creativity and artistic aspects.
