Abstract (EN)
The rapid increase in demand for energy in our country and around the world, the decrease in the existing energy resources and environmental problemscaused by some energy sources, has brought about the concept of new andrenewable resources. Increasing sensitivity caused by the environmentalproblems incurred by the use of conventional production of electricity aroundthe world, the costs brought by technology employed for efforts of minimizingthese consequences and the fact that these resources are not renewable hasincreased the electricity production from environment friendly, local resources, without fuel cost new and renewable resources. In this study the systems ofelectricity production from renewable resource of Wind Energy has beenexamined and taking into consideration the city of Kayseri, the environmentalconsequences has been evaluated.Science Code : 708. 3.015Key words : Wind Energy, Environmental EffectsPage Number : 114Adviser : Assist.
