Abstract (EN)

Energy calculations for the wind farms are important parameter for deciding to carry out the project. A minor deviation in wind speed causes large deviation in the output power of wind turbine because of cubic bond association between these two parameters. Therefore, a precise assessment of wind resource over any site is considered of paramount significance. In this study, two meteorological met masts have been used for the wind farm modelling. Each model results have been determined by using the wind measurement data and commercial modelling sofwares which are be able to perform wind farm modelling. In addition to this, a comparison has been made between the simulation results and actual measurement results. Also, wind resource maps for each model have been created and used for the annual energy production. In addition, the annual energy production has been estimated by using meteorological met mast data and mesoscale dataset and prepared a comparison study between both data series. The layout optimization has been performed in order to decrease the wake losses to increase the annual energy production In conclusion, the importance for selecting wind measurement data, micro-siting and models have been presented by using different methodologies.
