Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a prototype of a power system that contains solar cell and wind turbine was designed and implemented. As long as solar energy is sufficient enough, the demand of load is transferred from photovoltaic panel in the implemented system. Unless solar energy is not satisfied, the demand of load is supplied by a battery fed by wind turbine. In case the power supplied by wind turbine and photovoltaic panel do not meet the demand or an output voltage of inverter is not obtained even though the sources supply enough energy, the required energy is provided from the grid. Current and voltage values run on photovoltaic panel, battery and load are measured by measurement boards. Power management of hybrid system was basically carried out by measuring battery voltage and inverter's output voltage and evaluation of those values on Arduino that consists of both a physical programmable circuit board and IDE. Selection of the power supply that provides energy for the load is done by relays. Additionally, a simulation related to the designed system was created on Matlab-Simulink. An analysis of the system was made by comparing simulation results with experimental results. Keywords: Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Hybrid Power Production System, Power Flow, Modeling and Simulation
