Abstract (EN)

The subject of our study is the descriptive adjectives that take place in Sabahattin ALİ's "Kuyucaklı Yusuf". The aim of this research on the descriptive adjectives is to identify the grammatical features of Turkey's Turkish. In this study, qualitative attributes were examined in 6 groups (Qualitative, Qualified Word, Qualification Adjective, Structure of Qualification, Origin of Qualification, Phrase of Qualification). We have identified 1622 qualification in Kuyucakli Yusuf novel. 988 of these adjectives are Turkish, 441 are Arabic, 172 are Persian, 13 are French, 4 are Italian and 4 are Greek. In his novel Kuyucakli Yusuf, the most common qualification used by the author is the word "young" . This word has been used 41 times in the novel, Than 38 with "small " use, 35 with "white" use and 31 with "yellow". In Persian, the word is meaning "treasure". This word is using in Turkish also. Details about the statistical data and proportions of the general results mentioned here were included in the analysis part of the study.
