Abstract (EN)
The most widely used solar power plants in our country and even in the world consist of fixed-angle and non-tracking systems. While establishing these plants, there is a certain angle by using certain simulations or they are installed parallel to the existing angle on the roof where they are installed. In this study, we will compare the performance and efficiency values of the equivalent power plants operating in real field conditions that are designed in a fixed manner with the performance of the solar tracking system and simulation values; price performance ratios will be determined clearly and decision will be easier for installing the types of power plants. While solar tracking systems move according to the most efficient position they can get from the sun through radiation sensors, they are designed separately with simple computers and PLCs using multi-year solar data that work with open loop and based on meteorology data. In this study, three different power plant types designed as 1-axis, 2-axis and fixed angle were controlled as open loop with PLC software and production differences between power plants were evaluated for 1 year. According to this research we have done, it has been concluded that 2-axis tracking systems produce approximately 32% more energy annually compared to the fixed angle system, with an annual efficiency rate of 23% higher than a 1-axis system.
