Abstract (EN)
In industrial applications permanent magnet synchronous motors are being used increasingly in a wide range of applications. This is mainly due to permanet magnet synchronous motor?s superior power density and high torque. Nowadays the developing in technology works on the permanent magnet synchronous motors have been accelerated and concentrated on the areas of field oriented control and direct torque control methods. The mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, space vector theory, voltage source inverter model, space vector modulation and selection of voltage vectors, are basic subjects in PMSM control. In this thesis, the structure and the control methods of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) are analysed and Matlab/Simulink simulation is realized using conventional Direct Torque Control (DTC) method. As a result of this analysis, it is observed that the increase of the electromagnetic torque is directly proportional to the increase of the angle between the stator and rotor magnetic flux linkages.
