Abstract (EN)

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the shear bond strength of CAD/CAM high performance polymers with different contents used in fixed prosthetic restorations with resin composite using different adhesive systems. Materials and Methods: 160 specimens were produced from Polyetheretherketone (PEEK), Polyetherketoneketone (PEKK), fiber reinforced composite (FRC) and high-impact polymer composite (CO) CAD/CAM discs and divided into 4 groups. These groups were divided into 4 different adhesive subgroups (Visiolink (Bredent), Single bond (3M), G premio bond (GC), Optibond (Kerr)) into randomized groups. (n=10) Before and after the sandblasting surface treatment, surface scanning with AFM and surface roughness measurements were made with a profilometer. The shear bond strength of each sample with 5mm diameter and 2mm high indirect composite veneer material was tested with the Universal testing device. Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX)analyzes were performed on all samples under a scanning electron microscope (SEM), both before and after fracture. Post-test failure types were determined by SEM, EDX, and analytical mapping. Obtained data were analyzed with One way Anova and Tukey HSD statistical tests. Results: Among all groups, the highest shear bond strength values were observed in OP applied resin containing CO (20.28±2.08 MPa) and FRC (18.88±3.09 MPa) substructures, while the lowest values were observed in PEEK (10.33±2.47 MPa) material with GP adhesive. The highest bond strength values among the applied bonds; It can be said that there are adhesives in the SB group for PEEK and PEKK samples, and OP group adhesives for the composite polymer groups FRC and CO. The bond strength of all infrastructure and adhesive systems was found to be above 10 MPa for clinical use. Conclusion: All infrastructure materials and bond systems were found to be clinically usable. Keywords: Fiber reinforced composite resin, Indirect composite resin, Shear bond strength, PEEK, PEKK
