Abstract (EN)
This study presents a solution for the bending process to reduce the initial blank calculation errors. Purpose of the research; is to solve the problems that can be occurred when the calculating right initial blank geometry which is frequently encountered in the bending operation of the sheet metal industry, choosing the right bending tools, reducing the backwarding problems and shortening the set up times. The bending process was carried out using a CNC bending press with 6 axes. 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm thickness sheet samples are used for the study with a quality of EN 10130 DC01. As a result of the outputs obtained from experimental studies for calculate blanking sheet metal dimensions accurately was decided which factors more effective in formula. Moreover, in order to increase the productivity in the application, a program which calculates the initial blank length correctly by using C ++ software is written.
