Computer aided cost calculation of sheet metal dying

Cost control is a very big importance for the sheet metal forming industry. Considering the cost control requirement, in this study, a software was developed which estimates the cost calculation of sheet metal dies . Processing steps that occur during die making and a cost calculation predictiıon was madei ncluding the costs of all forming pattern seperately. This cost calculation softwaere in sheet metal forming industry were used Logopress prograsive die desing module on Solidworks, Delphi and Visual Basic programing languages. The codes ; calculates die cost of product?s strip layout is created on Logopress that were produced by macros was written on Deplhi and VBA. This thesis study is used cost calculation of prograsive die and analisys of process planing.
