In this thesis, an inverse problem for a stationary kinetic equation with scattering term is considered in a bounded domain. The thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the importance of the problem in applications is mentioned. Moreover, some basic definitions and theorems are given. In the second chapter, solvability conditions for the problem are presented. In the third chapter, in order to obtain the approximate solution of the problem, a solution algorithm is developed based on the finite difference approximation and Newton-Cotes formulas. In the last chapter, in order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, approximate solutions are compared with the exact solutions by using tables and graphs.
