Abstract (EN)

The Shia make their presence felt in Iraq. The religious and sectarian Shia movement is a concept influencing the regional countries constantly. Iran is the not only country having Shia population but Iran also is the only country whose constitution states Shiism. Iran was acquired the Shia movement's historical experience that started and developed with Imam Ali's period, its political evolution in the result of the regional and global struggles under the leadership of the Shia clerks and the acquisition of Shia madrasahs by hosting the exiled clerks and political leaders. Through these acquisitions Iran formed the basis for Islamic Revolution and evolved governance of juries. Being that the struggle in Iraq has been against two great powers England and USA, it has increased leeway for the Shia movement having ability to turn the conflict and competition into opportunity under the influence of Iran. Iran has established its defence on sectarian influence as a result of finding its regime and security in danger. In this study it was aimed to make certain the factors caused sectarian influence and support the reasons by the help of data given in the Iraq paradigm. Qualitative research method was chosen. The ethnographic and the historical research techniques were used. This is a case study. In International Relations the analyses and the set forth standards that govern the relationships are important. In this respect realism and neorealism theories, conflict and competitive conflict theories were used in the research. In the light of these theories the Iran's influence in Shia movement was searched analytically and descriptively in the Iraq paradigm.
