Researching of the soil organik carbon content in the pure black pine forest

Abstract (EN)

This study has been done at Kastamonu Regional Directorate of Forestry, Karadere Forest Management Directorate, forest management units Çaltepe area. We determined to chancing the amount of carbon in the soil at pure black pine stands in the open area and different age groups under similar conditions. As a result of this study the value of the average amount of carbon at top soil layer (0-20cm); for 1. age group (0-10) 39,85 t/ha, 2. age group (10-20) 61,26 t/ha, 3. age group (20-30) 53,05 t/ha, 4.age group (30-40) 41,55 t/ha, 5. age group (40-50) 48,81 t/ha, 6. age group (50-60) 47,44 t/ha and for control parcel 38,49 t/ha. In the statistical evaluation; it has been identified as statistically significant relationship between at 1.-2.-4. age groups soil sampels and open area soil sampels. The value of the average amount of carbon at lower soil layer (20-40cm); for 1. age group (0-10) 36,87 t/ha, 2. age group (10-20) 51,03 t/ha, 3. age group (20-30) 45,42 t/ha, 4.age group (30-40) 35,76 t/ha, 5. age group (40-50) 39,63 t/ha, 6. age group (50-60) 41,00 t/ha and for control parcel 30,85 t/ha. In the statistical evaluation; it has been identified as statistically significant relationship between at 1.-2. age groups soil sampels and open area soil sampels. We determined the average amount of carbon compared to the opening value of areas of pure black pine stands of different age groups have been found to be higher.
