The thematic study on Safiye Erol's literary texts of fiction

Safiye Erol, who lived between January 2, 1902 – October 1, 1964 and her right was given to her years of after her death, is a significant author. Author, who pointed out with her brillant intelligence and sensibility ever since childhood years, received a good education by virtue of her parent's attention about education. When she, who was twenty six years old and completed scient of Orient postgraduate, came back to country from Germany, her purpose was serve to nation. She started to write with this purpose in 1927 - 1928 by signature of "Dilarâ" and "Safiye Sâmi". If themes, which she had worked on, had changed, they could be an adviser for today's human being. Determinations about themes of love, marriage, relations between woman and man, woman, working woman, social life, loneliness, values moral and religion, education etc. shed light on lots of problems even today. Our purpose is present these determinations with a thematic working. By this way, an important source can be provied for researchers who working on particularly literature, areas of sociology, psychology, philosophy etc. Giving the author's importance that is refered by critics as Selim İleri, Murat Belge, Mustafa Kutlu etc. recently is an untruth just by activities which were done at her birth and death anniversaries. For this reason, our study which involves works of doctorate and master's degree, and personal searchers ever made, serve to community of culture, art, history and we will can be paid our duty of loyalty.
